17 Kindergartners infected with Ebola in Texas?
Rumours are circulating the Internet that claim 17 kindergarten children in Texas have tested positive to Ebola after coming into contact with a Liberian foreign exchange student.
The rumours link back to an article published in The National Report.net that claims a Liberian student, in the US after “her family were displaced by war” began vomiting soon after arriving in the US, and infected her classmates. The report also claims the kindergarten teacher, Lindsay Belknap, is currently under observation.
The reports are entirely false. This is yet another example of false news thanks to popular fauxtire website National Report.net. National Report continually publishes fake news in order to confuse and mislead readers into sharing it.
The site has recently exploited the Ebola outbreak with several related articles, some of which have caused alarm to readers, all published in the weeks following the outbreak.
There is nothing true about the story of kindergartners contracting the Ebola virus whatsoever. This has been entirely made up by the National Report site and readers are advised not to follow or share anything they publish.
