Boston Police Officer Delivers Milk Photo

A picture of what appears to be a police officer delivering milk to a family in Watertown goes viral. But is the photo real?

We’ve been receiving plenty of queries on a photo that has been doing the social media rounds lately that shows a police officer dressed up in full tactical gear with a gallon of milk in either hand. The caption asserts that the officer was delivering milk to a family with young kids during the lockdown that occurred at Boston suburb Watertown during the manhunt for one of the Boston marathon bombing suspects.

The image appears to be genuine. After confusion as to who the officer was and what department he worked for, reports now assert that the man behind the sunglasses is John Bradley from the Brookline police force.

The Brookline police posted the photo of the officer on their Facebook Page, identifying the officer in the comments.

Though at this point little information is known as to who took the photo or who the recipients of the milk actually were.
