Disney releasing Monsters Inc. sequel called Boo? HOAX

Claims are spreading that Disney are releasing a sequel to Monsters Inc. titled Boo that is set to be shown in 2020.

The claims have been fuelled by a movie poster (below) apparently depicting the latest Disney movie featuring one of the starring characters from the Monsters Inc. movie.

However many expressed scepticism since there has been no official word from Disney regarding any potential sequel by this name, or indeed, any sequel at all (a prequel was released in 2013 called Monsters University.)

As it turns out, the movie poster that has been spreading across social media is actually not an official move poster from Disney at all. In fact it was originally uploaded by Instagram user Nico (username ConceptDisney) before spreading across Facebook.

Nico had printed his/her stamp on the poster which can be clearly seen on the right hand side and stated in the caption that he/she posts concept ideas for Disney, which essentially means this poster is just an example of fan art, and is nothing to do with Disney at all. The caption included can be seen below.

Since this seems to be the centre piece that sparked the rumour of a Monsters Inc. sequel called Boo, it appears that it is nothing more than just a rumour.
