Fake Step Brothers 2 poster is circulating the Internet

When it comes to Hollywood movies with rumoured sequels, not many have bested Step Brothers. The 2008 Will Ferrell comedy has endured a constant stream of sequel rumours ever since its release, though to date none have ever turned out to be based on truth.

The latest “OMG Step Brothers 2 is coming” themed rumour comes in the form of a fake ‘Step Brothers Part 2’ coming soon poster that is spreading across Facebook, which you can see below.

Sorry guys, that pic of Ferrell and O’Reilly jumping into a pool was a promotional picture for the first Step Brothers movie.

Also, the web domain stepbrothers2.com doesn’t exist, it just redirects to the Sony Pictures website (they most likely purchased it on the chance a sequel could happen) and the more eagle eyed viewers would have realised the poster contains a somewhat glaring grammar error in the tagline (I’ts ?)

At the time of writing, no date for a Step Brothers sequel has been released, and rumours of a sequel remain – just as they always have – unconfirmed.
