| Phishing |
A play on the word fishing. This is where scammers will send out a spoof email and often set up a spoof website. The email and web site will be based to look like a legitimate organisation, even an organisation the victim is associated with (i.e. your bank). The email and web site will encourage you to enter personal details that are then promptly stolen by the scammers.

| Serial Promotor |
A serial promotor is somebody who makes a living of promoting Ponzi schemes and such similar scams. Since with Ponzi's it is only the earlier investors that make a profit, serial promotors will sign up early, promote the scam, and make money from the innocent newer recruits their promoting brings in.

Malicious software that installs itself on a users computer often without their knowledge. Can be through an activated email attachment or even allowed through a web page.
