This warning is popular on Facebook presently -

NASTY FB virus going around,........If FB says you\'re NOT logged in and asks you to reset your Password...DONT! Log out and log in the usual way with your normal password!!!!!!!!! copy and paste this please. PLEASE DON\'T IGNORE THIS MESSAGE



The information described in this message refers to what is known as a Phishing attack where online fraudsters pretend to be from a reliable entity (Facebook in this case) in order to steal personal information from you or to infect your computer with malware.

There are genuine threats that resemble the above warning, including an email that circulated in 2009 that purported that the Facebook members email had been changed and victims had to open the email attachment to find out their new password. In reality the attachment contain the Bredolab virus. (text below)

There have been no measures taken by Facebook that involved their members having to either reset their passwords or having their passwords reset for them, unless requested. Ignore any emails that assert this - and do not open any attachments or open web links on any emails regarding this subject.
