The following images being circulated through the Internet shows a
kayaker about to be swallowed by a feeding whale. The image, as many would have first suspected, is a digital fabrication of two photos overlaid upon each other. Most of the
original variants of the email that have the image in its original format still have the photo properties embedded in the photo file itself, revealing the original photo of
the whale is a photo by Tim Shobe.
The photo is fake.
