One Direction Fan Kills Her Dog Over Twitter Rejection - Internet/Facebook Rumour

Rumours are circulating on the Internet that a One Direction fan killed her dog after the band members did not respond to her requests to follow her on social media site Twitter.

The story was picked up by the New York Daily News after the Twitter account posted pictures of a girl holding a small dog by its neck. After a few days another picture of a young girl crying whilst cradling a [possibly] dead dog was posted onto the same Twitter account to band member Liam Payne along with a message saying…

“I love you. Follow me. My dog has just died."

At this point however the validity of the account has not been confirmed. Whilst it has been well documented that One Direction fans (dubbed “Directioners”) do a range of silly things in order to get the attention of the band members, the location or identity of the girl is currently unknown, nor is status of the dog in the photos.

Her Twitter appeals to the band likely went unnoticed since the band members received thousands of daily requests on Twitter.

The Twitter account in question, the now disabled @illumivato account, has also reportedly posted other pictures onto the account included a cat in a blender and a small child with his hands tied together, though we cannot verify that these came from the same account due to it being disabled.

This is currently being investigated and any more details will be added here.
