Michelle Wolf arrested in 2015 for bestiality? Fact Check

Rumours are circulating that claim comedian Michelle Wolf was arrested in 2015 for bestiality.

Michelle Wolf hit the media spotlight recently after her comedy routine at the 2018 White House Correspondents Dinner drew controversy from some circles amid her jokes levelled against the Trump administration.

And an image of what appears to be a screenshot of 2015 dated newspaper claiming Wolf had been arrested for bestiality charges is spreading online. See image below.

However the story is entirely false. The image was made from a fake newspaper clip generator where anyone can go and create their very own fake stories. The newspaper clip generator at Fodey.com demonstrably creates clips that look identical to the above image, only with a user’s own generated text.

As such, the story is clearly fake.
