Yes, Burger King are paying for the Burger King wedding.

It may sound like nonsense, but yes it does appear that popular fast food chain Burger King are indeed paying for the wedding between Joel Burger and Ashley King.

Joel and Ashley had been collectively known as Burger King when they first met in fifth grade. Since them things between them progressed and they got themselves engaged, posting their engagement photo next to a Burger King store in Springfield.

After it was reported by local news, the story went viral. And soon it caught the attention of the Burger King marketing team, who were keen to get involved.

Burger King – through social media – tracked down the lovestruck pair and filmed a video where a PR rep from Burger King announced that the fast food chain would be coughing up the money for the entire wedding, much to the amazement of Burger and King.

No doubt it will be a Whopper of a wedding.

Now stop asking us if it’s true or not ;P
