Changing the rules of #NekNomination

The Internet meme #NekNominate is going viral around the world, hitting Australia, UK, USA and South Africa amongst many others.

The meme involves Internet users being nominated to “neck” (drink quickly, in one go, for the uninitiated) a substance of their choice, the nastier the substance the more “cool points” received. The most common choice seems to be alcoholic spirits. The person nominated has to film themselves, upload it on the Internet and nominate friends to follow suit.

And with reports surfacing of people hurting themselves, even fatalities, may be it’s time to alter the game rules slightly.

If you find yourself nominated, follow the lead of these guys below (will be updated with more vids) and replace the “necking” with a random act of kindness instead, and then nominate your friends to do the same.

As they say, we can change the world, with one random act of kindness at a time.
