Does this photo show Trump and Epstein with young girl? Fact Check

A photo showing Donald Trump and Jeff Epstein is spreading that shows the pair of men with a young girl, amid criminal charges facing Epstein for sex trafficking.

FALSE

While it is true that Trump and Epstein have met a number of times at various social events, the photo isn’t real and has been digitally altered. Epstein has been digitally imposed onto an image of Trump and the young girl – who is his daughter Ivanka – when they attended the Grand Opening of the Harley Davidson Café in 1993 in New York City. See image below.

The photo of Epstein has simply been digitally added on top of the photo of Trump and Ivanka.

Additional rumours that Epstein and Trump knew each other and socialised together are, to an extent, true. Both have attended the same events and have been photographed together, and it is true that in 2002, Trump claimed during a phone interview with New York Magazine that Epstein “liked beautiful women as much as I do”.

I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy…. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.

However it has also been reported that Epstein was subsequently banned from Trump’s resorts after he was alleged to have assaulted an underage girl in a club.
