Was Obama seen wearing a RIP Epstein t-shirt? Fact Check
An image appears to show former president Barack Obama wearing an RIP Epstein t-shirt.

The photo, which shows Obama shaking hands, appears to show the former president wearing an RIP Epstein t-shirt that includes the caption “Welcome to Hell”. Some variants of the photo appear to have been taken from the TMZ website. An example of the photo is below.
The image has been digitally altered. In fact the original photo shows Obama wearing a plain t-shirt. A reverse image search shows that the photo was taken in 2014, and appears on the Getty Images website. A scaled down version of the original photo on the Getty website can be seen below.
The photo was taken when President Obama visited a crowd of supporters at a Marine Corps base in Hawaii whilst he was president. Of course in 2014 Jeffrey Epstein was very much alive.
Despite a screenshot of the photo appearing on the entertainment website TMZ, a search does not yield any results.
