Image shows Justin Trudeau watering a tree in the rain?

An image appears to show Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau watering a tree in the rain is spreading across social media.

The image (below) is spreading with the caption – “without government, who would water trees in the rain?”

Despite the claims made in the image, it does not depict Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. It has been digitally altered using software such as Photoshop.

The real photograph does indeed show two men watering a newly planted tree (which we’re told require water even if it is raining.) those men are Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, and the watering of the tree is a long standing tradition that heads of states perform when visiting Belarus. The original image can be seen below.
