Readers beware, sites like DollarMilk.com aren’t going to make you rich

One of the more popular questions we’re always getting from our members is those asking if the site they just stumbled on claiming they can make hundreds of dollars a day doing “simple tasks” is the real deal?

In all the instances where we have investigated, not one of these types of sites have been nothing more than an obvious rip-off, and that includes DollarMilk.com, which claims users can make “$10 per 10 second tasks”.

If that sounds too good to be true, that’s because it is. DollarMilk.com is one of a number of different websites that include RewardsEmpire.com, desksalary.com, deskfunds.com and mycashduty.com that essentially lure victims into parting with their email address on the promise of earning lots of money from home.

The problem is, as soon as you register, you’ll soon find that with these sorts of websites, the only thing you can do is spam your link across the Internet since this is the only task available to users. The site claims they’ll pay for each person you send, but this has two problems.

1. No one will probably click your links, since you’re spamming the Internet. No one likes spam, and you’ll links will probably wind up getting deleted.

2. Sites like this don’t pay up. The “amount paid out” at the top of the page is fake. It changes to an arbitrary number each time you hit the refresh button!

Not only this, but we have counted over 50 websites all claiming the exact same thing, and are clearly operated by the same group of criminals.

Now, you can make money online doing tasks, like filling in surveys etc. But you’re just not going to earn a full time living doing it since these sites only pay smaller amounts of money. If you are looking to make a little extra cash – and don’t want to get scammed while you do it – the leading website online that pays for this sort of thing is SwagBucks, where you earn their digital currency which can be swapped for gift cards or PayPal cash when you accumulate enough.
